Manna Biotech internships are delivered through a working biotechnology laboratory and scientist-guided computational environment, not a classroom-only demo. Choose from specialist wet-lab and bioinformatics tracks, work with supervised methods and leave with a publicly verifiable Manna Biotech certificate.
This is a fee-based hands-on training program. It is not a stipend or salaried internship.

What's included

NGS — Genomic & Transcriptomic Analysis
Current Oxford Nanopore whole-genome and 16S workflows, plus RNA-seq and epigenetics analysis concepts using suitable datasets. Training scope is confirmed for each batch.
Bioinformatics & Cheminformatics
AI/ML-powered in silico analysis, drug discovery pipelines, molecular docking, omics data visualisation. Linux, Python, and pipeline thinking.
CRISPR/Cas9 Research Concepts
sgRNA design, knockout and HDR strategy concepts, controls, biosafety and functional-genomics planning. Any execution component is confirmed separately for the selected batch.
Zebrafish Research Design
Model selection, endpoint planning, phenotype-data interpretation and ethical study concepts. Animal-study execution is not presented as an in-house service and requires a separately verified facility.
Cell Culture Fundamentals
Aseptic technique, media preparation, cell maintenance, sub-culturing, viability and cryopreservation concepts within the current training scope.
Comet Assay & Genotoxicity Concepts
Study design, controls, single-cell electrophoresis principles, image scoring and interpretation, with any hands-on scope confirmed for the batch.
Molecular Biology & Genetic Engineering
Cloning, qRT-PCR, nucleic acid isolation, electrophoresis, and restriction analysis. The bedrock of modern biotech.
Bioprocess & Fermentation Concepts
Upstream and downstream processing concepts, microbial-fermentation planning and data interpretation, with practical scope confirmed before enrolment.
Regulatory Affairs & Quality Compliance
GLP, GMP, ICH Q-series, and ISO standards for biotech products. Essential for industry-bound students.
NGS Data Analysis & Workflow Design
Pipeline development for microbiome studies, variant analysis, gene expression, and reproducible research.
Nutrition, Microbiome & Functional Foods
Research training in gene-diet concepts, microbial-community data, functional foods and responsible evidence interpretation. It is not personalised medical advice or deterministic health prediction.

1-Month Internship
Entry-level or high-specialisation tracks (NGS, CRISPR). Ideal for short breaks.
3-Month Internship
Most popular — ideal for MSc, BTech, MTech students. Dissertation-ready.
6-Month Internship
Deep immersion, includes a mini-project with optional publication mentoring.

Internship fees vary dramatically by track — a 1-month bioinformatics track costs very differently from a 6-month publication-track CRISPR internship. Our counsellors take 15 minutes to understand your field, duration, and scholarship eligibility, then share a tailored plan.

Common questions.
Who can apply?+
BSc, MSc, BTech, MTech, and PhD students in biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry, life sciences, bioinformatics, pharmaceutical sciences, or related fields. Working professionals are also welcome.
Is this online or in-person?+
Wet-lab tracks (CRISPR, cell culture, NGS, molecular biology) are in-person at our Nacharam lab. Bioinformatics-only tracks can be offered remotely with weekly video mentoring.
What certification do I get?+
A verifiable Manna Biotech certificate (MB-IN-YYYY-XXXX format) recording the completed programme or technique exposure. Every certificate is available on our public verification portal for a recruiter or institution to check.
Does the internship lead to a publication?+
Our 6-month internship includes an optional publication track where your mini-project can be mentored toward a manuscript. Publication depends on peer review and is never guaranteed, but we provide rigorous drafting and submission support.
How are fees structured?+
Fees vary by track, duration, and your eligibility for scholarships. We share a complete fee structure and syllabus during a 15-minute counseling call — no obligation.
