Once data exist, describe how they were collected and which decisions were already made. Retrospective analysis cannot recreate missing measurements or turn an exploratory question into a pre-specified one.

An analysis-support scope can specify a data-quality summary, documented analysis choices, tables, figures and methods explanation. A reporting scope should focus on the study you actually performed, including missing data and limitations. You review and author the submission; support does not replace the recognised guide.
