Cell line studies & cellular toxicology

Discuss the cell model and endpoints before choosing an assay.

Cell-line studies are undertaken at Manna Biotech, subject to the specific cell line, method, expertise, instruments, controls and biosafety requirements being verified. A named endpoint is not a guarantee that the particular method or instrument is available.

Viability and phenotypic endpoints

Discuss cell line development and maintenance, MTT or SRB cell-viability assays, IC50 estimation, cell-based phenotypic assays and scratch wound healing. Controls and replicates must fit the model and question.

Apoptosis, ROS and DNA integrity

Review feasibility of apoptosis and reactive oxygen species (ROS) detection, DNA ladder assay and DNA fragmentation assay. The analytical method and interpretation limits require separate review.

Flow cytometry and confocal microscopy

Flow cytometry, FACS and confocal imaging require verification of the instrument, expertise and any external execution arrangement; their mention does not establish current in-house availability.

In-vivo preclinical & pharmacology

Define animal-study feasibility, approvals and execution responsibility.

Eligible in-vivo studies may be coordinated for execution at an external partner facility under an MoU, subject to verification of study-specific facility capability and applicable institutional, ethics and regulatory approvals. Manna Biotech does not claim to own an animal facility.

Potential efficacy questions

Discuss anticancer, anti-obesity, antidiabetic (including STZ, alloxan or high-fat diet), anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, antioxidant, analgesic, wound-healing, hepatoprotective, nephroprotective, cardioprotective and neurobehavioral research models, subject to external facility and model verification.

Safety and toxicology endpoints

Discuss proposed acute toxicity studies, including OECD 423 or 425 where appropriate, and separately scoped repeated-dose studies. The applicable guideline, study type, endpoint, laboratory status and acceptance must be confirmed. An OECD guideline number does not establish GLP or regulatory acceptance.

Associated study outputs

Hematology, biochemistry, histopathology and H&E staining, and PK/PD are separate scoping questions. Review the executing facility, specimen permissions, specialist capability and data handover before work is accepted.

Pharmacology, chemistry & natural products

Separate experimental feasibility from an accredited analytical claim.

Synthetic chemistry, specialist instruments and outsourced work are subject to a documented project-specific capability and commercial review.

Synthesis and natural products

Discuss synthetic route design and custom chemical synthesis, phytochemistry and natural product extraction, and silver, gold or polymeric nanoparticle synthesis where suitable facilities and materials can be verified.

Assay strategy

Review research-use in-vitro pharmacology, cell-based phenotypic screening and ADME-toxicity requirements, including the distinction between computational predictions and experimental assays.

Analytical characterization

HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, FTIR and UV-Vis can be discussed as requested methods; confirm access, validated method, sample compatibility, calibration, turnaround and reporting facility before commissioning.

Bioinformatics, cheminformatics & CADD

Scope the data, model and interpretation needed for the research question.

Computational approaches are research tools. Available software, data rights, licensing, analysis depth and feasibility are agreed for each scope.

Sequence and structure

Discuss sequence analysis, protein structure prediction, molecular modelling, molecular docking and molecular dynamics (MD) simulation with documented input data and chosen methods.

Drug-design methods

Assess QSAR studies, pharmacophore mapping, fragment-based drug designing (FBDD) and network pharmacology where the question, reference data and computational workflow are suitable.

Predicted properties and toxicity

Computational ADMET and TOPKAT toxicity prediction may be requested for feasibility review, subject to access, licensing and appropriate validation. Predictions are not clinical proof of safety or efficacy.

Molecular biology, biochemistry & enzymology

Review sample suitability, target and method before committing to outputs.

Nucleic acid methods

Discuss Oxford Nanopore WGS, 16S/ITS metagenomics, Sanger or amplicon sequencing, PCR, RT-PCR/qPCR, RNA extraction and purification, SNP-RFLP and DNA restriction fragment mapping. Methods and receiving requirements are confirmed for the sample.

Cloning, blots and hybridization

Gene cloning and subcloning, library screening, cDNA preparation or purification for microarrays, Northern blot, dot blot, slot blot, in-situ hybridization and reporter assays are proposed methods requiring facility and workflow verification.

Protein and enzymology

Discuss Western blot, recombinant protein expression and purification, SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis, zymography, and biochemistry or enzymology kinetic assays with a defined target, matrix, controls and data handover.

Microbiology & immunology

Specify the organism, material and question to avoid overclaiming.

Antimicrobial endpoints

Discuss minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC), minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC), zone of inhibition and biofilm inhibition studies for eligible organisms and materials.

Identity and immunological assays

Review microbial identification using appropriate 16S/ITS or biochemical approaches, and ELISA or other immunological assays, subject to target, method and facility fit.

Academic and industrial scope

Medical, PhD and dissertation enquiries can include authorised-data analysis and research mentoring. Scholars retain their own writing, interpretation and authorship; no fabricated results, sold authorship or guaranteed publication.

Research-grade scope and clear reporting boundaries.

Research-use feasibility does not establish clinical, diagnostic, GLP, NABL or statutory accreditation. In-vivo studies may be coordinated for execution at an external partner facility under an MoU, subject to verified study-specific capability and appropriate approvals; Manna does not claim to own an animal facility. Material transfer requires written acceptance and applicable biosafety and transport rules.

Sample suitability, the executing facility, method availability, biosafety, acceptance criteria and deliverables are confirmed in writing before work begins. We do not guarantee a particular result, publication, regulatory approval or commercial outcome.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does Manna Biotech offer every named method in-house?

+

No blanket claim is made. Cell-line studies are undertaken at Manna Biotech, subject to the required cell line, method and instrument availability. The team verifies staff, instruments, materials and execution capacity for each request; a separately verified specialist facility may be required or a request may not be accepted.

Can researchers and companies across India enquire?

+

Yes. Remote scoping is available for an initial non-confidential project outline. Physical sample intake is not automatic: the receiving facility must first confirm the material, method, permissions and carrier-approved transport conditions in writing.

Where are in-vivo studies performed?

+

Eligible in-vivo studies may be coordinated for execution at an external partner facility under an MoU after study-specific facility capability and applicable institutional, ethical and regulatory approvals are verified. Manna does not claim to own an animal facility; neither approval nor a model is guaranteed.

Can you confirm flow cytometry, confocal imaging, ADME or LC-MS for my project?

+

These are advanced requirements that need separate equipment, expertise, licensing where relevant, method and facility verification. Provide the non-confidential endpoint, model, sample type and required outputs. We will confirm whether the work is feasible in-house, needs a verified external facility, or cannot be accepted.

Are results clinical, accredited or guaranteed?

+

Research-use findings are not patient diagnosis, a clinical decision, a GLP claim or an accredited statutory report. An accredited or regulated use needs a separately verified facility with the correct scope. No result, publication, regulatory approval or commercial outcome is guaranteed.

How are academic writing, patents and confidential information handled?

+

The scholar and supervisor retain academic ownership, interpretation and authorship. We do not ghostwrite, fabricate data or sell authorship. Patent filing and prosecution require a qualified registered professional. Send only a non-confidential outline first; discuss an NDA, authorised data transfer and ownership terms before sharing sensitive material.
