Four-step research workflow
Agree the scientific scope and material route before anything is sent.
This describes a feasibility pathway rather than a promise that every material or method can be accepted or executed at Nacharam.
- 01
Discuss the research question
Request an online scientist consultation with a non-confidential summary of the objective, model or sample, intended use, institution or company requirements and preferred timeline. Patient identifiers and sensitive protocols do not belong in the enquiry form.
- 02
Confirm materials and transport
Before dispatch, obtain written acceptance from the identified receiving facility, with specimen classification, permissions, approved packaging and carrier route. In-house or external sourcing of strains, cell lines, plants or chemicals is possible only if specifically verified and agreed in the scope.
- 03
Agree where work happens
The written scope identifies feasible Manna laboratory work, bioinformatics and specialist external facilities. Cell-line studies at Manna depend on method and instrument availability. Eligible in-vivo work may be coordinated under an MoU for execution at an external partner facility, subject to verified capability and approvals.
- 04
Review agreed outputs securely
Raw data, images, chromatograms, sequencing files, statistical outputs and methods can be discussed for secure handover when applicable and agreed. Reports support the investigator or scholar; certificate eligibility, format and public verification are separately confirmed.
Sample acceptance & logistics
A sample matrix for review—not an instruction to ship.
No sample, culture, human material, chemical or preservative should be dispatched before the receiving facility confirms acceptance and transport requirements in writing. Classification, packaging, temperature, documentation, carrier acceptance and legal restrictions depend on the actual material and route.
Synthetic compounds, extracts & formulations
Provide a non-confidential material description, intended assay, hazards, solvent or preservative and applicable safety documentation. Flammable, toxic or otherwise regulated chemicals require an approved classification and carrier route; do not assume ordinary courier or bus parcel acceptance.
Microbial isolates & enzymes
State the organism or enzyme, source, known hazards and intended research use. Live cultures, infectious or otherwise regulated material require biosafety review and an authorised receiving facility and carrier. Do not send material until the written instructions expressly allow it.
DNA, RNA, plasmids & cDNA
Describe the source, matrix, concentration and available quality information. The receiving facility determines whether the material can be accepted, its classification, any transport conditions and the required documentation before dispatch.
Agricultural soil & aquaculture tissue
Describe the collection site, sample matrix, intended assay and any preservative. Soil, water, shrimp or fish tissues may carry biological or agricultural restrictions; request matrix-specific acceptance and packaging instructions rather than choosing a preservative or delivery route yourself.
Research tissue & serum
Human or animal tissue and serum require documented origin, consent or ownership, appropriate ethical and institutional permissions, de-identification where applicable, biosafety classification and a verified receiving facility. Do not send patient identifiers through this website or dispatch clinical or restricted specimens without explicit acceptance.
The sender, carrier and receiving facility must meet the applicable transport and biosafety requirements. Confirm the recipient, arrival window, route, required labels and temperature controls with the authorised parties; a courier or bus service is suitable only if it accepts the specific material and route.
Flexible research participation
Discuss a participation mode that fits your institution and project.
The following are modes to discuss, not guaranteed packages. Availability, academic rules, specialist facilities and supervision need verification before a fee, schedule or enrolment is offered.
Mode A: remote project coordination
For eligible scopes, discuss remote planning, approved Manna laboratory work and authorised analysis with agreed milestones and review calls. Proposed in-vivo work at an external partner facility under an MoU requires study-specific capability and approvals. Timestamped records or one-to-one viva guidance are provided only when explicitly agreed and permitted.
Mode B: short in-person residency
Ask whether a short practical residency of 7–15 days is suitable and available at Nacharam. Dates, supervision, eligibility, required attendance, practical content, cost and the institution’s rules must be confirmed before booking.
Mode C: remote computational mentoring
Discuss live mentoring for appropriate bioinformatics, cheminformatics, CADD docking, QSAR, pharmacophore or biostatistics work with authorised datasets and agreed software access. Availability and scope depend on the project and mentor.
MSc, MPharm, BPharm, BTech, PharmD, MD and PhD scholars must follow their guide, institutional approvals and assessment requirements. The learner remains responsible for academic work, interpretation, writing and defence. Medical support is educational research support, not clinical care.
Results, confidentiality and ownership
Document responsibilities and data sharing before work begins.
Output scope
Where relevant and agreed, review options such as flow cytometry or confocal plots, gel, blot or zymography images, chromatograms, histopathology material, FASTQ/FASTA files and statistical outputs. Inclusion depends on the verified method and executing facility.
Secure handover
Agree who owns and receives project-specific data, how authorised files are transferred, storage and retention expectations, and whether an NDA is needed. Do not post proprietary information or identifiable medical records in a public enquiry.
Academic integrity and certificates
Students prepare and defend their own academic work. We do not fabricate results, sell authorship, ghostwrite a thesis or guarantee publication. If a Manna certificate is issued for an eligible programme, ask whether it can be checked in the public registry.
For already issued eligible certificates, use the public registry at mannabiotech.com/verify. A certificate is not an academic degree or professional licence.
Research-grade scope and clear reporting boundaries.
The written scope identifies where each accepted activity is executed. Cell-line studies at Manna depend on method and instrument availability. Eligible in-vivo work may be coordinated for execution at an external partner facility under an MoU, subject to verified facility capability and applicable approvals. Manna does not claim to own an animal facility or offer every advanced method in-house. Research support is not clinical, accredited or statutory testing.
Sample suitability, the executing facility, method availability, biosafety, acceptance criteria and deliverables are confirmed in writing before work begins. We do not guarantee a particular result, publication, regulatory approval or commercial outcome.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can I send samples from anywhere in India?
+
You can enquire from across India, but physical transfer depends on the sample, receiving facility, required permissions, biosafety classification and an accepting carrier. Obtain written acceptance and material-specific instructions before shipping. Not all materials, carriers or routes can be accepted.
How should I package compounds, cultures, tissues or DNA/RNA?
+
There is no single safe packaging recipe for every sample. Tell us the material, origin, any solvent or preservative, hazard information and intended assay first. The authorised receiving facility and carrier must confirm classification, packaging, temperature, labelling and documents. Do not send infectious, regulated, hazardous or human specimens without their explicit acceptance.
Will all wet-lab and in-vivo experiments happen in Nacharam?
+
No. Cell-line studies at Manna depend on the method, model and instrument availability. Eligible in-vivo studies may be coordinated for execution at an external partner facility under an MoU after verifying study-specific facility capability and applicable ethical, institutional and regulatory approvals. The written scope identifies each execution site.
Can my materials, strain or cell line be procured for a remote study?
+
Ask during feasibility review. Sourcing, availability, provenance, permissions, safety and cost are confirmed in writing for the specific material and scope; automatic in-house procurement is not promised.
Can outstation MSc, MPharm, BTech, PharmD, MD or PhD scholars join remotely or for a short residency?
+
These modes can be discussed subject to mentor and facility availability, research scope, institutional approval, eligibility and supervision. A 7–15 day visit, live computational mentoring or remote project coordination is not automatic; the institution determines the academic participation and assessment required.
What results and certificates will I receive?
+
The written agreement defines the work, executing facility and applicable raw data, images, analysis and report deliverables. A public verification link applies only when an eligible Manna certificate is actually issued. Scholars remain responsible for their own academic writing and defence; no result, publication, regulatory approval or admission is guaranteed.
