This Privacy Policy explains how Manna Biotech Private Limited collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use www.mannabiotech.com or our services. We are committed to handling your data lawfully, fairly and transparently, consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Who we are

Manna Biotech Private Limited (“Manna Biotech”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is an ISO 9001:2015 certified biotechnology research, training and services company based in Nacharam, Hyderabad, Telangana, India (CIN: U73100TG2021PTC151489). For the purposes of the DPDP Act, we act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data you share with us.

2. The data we collect

We only collect data we need to respond to you and deliver our services. This may include:

  • Contact & enquiry data — name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, qualification, college or institution, and the message or service you are interested in, submitted through our enquiry, syllabus-download, application or contact forms.
  • Service & academic data — details you provide for internships, academic projects, dissertations, PhD support, lab/CRO services, patent/IP support or overseas-education guidance, including documents you choose to share for that purpose.
  • Transaction data — records of programs/services you enrol in and payment status. Card and bank details are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full payment-instrument details.
  • Technical & usage data — limited, mostly-anonymous information such as device/browser type and pages visited, collected via cookies and analytics (see our Cookie Policy).

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18 without verifiable parental/guardian consent. Most of our learners are college students aged 18 or above; where a learner is a minor, a parent or guardian should provide consent and contact details.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide information, syllabi, quotes or counselling you request.
  • To deliver and administer the programs and services you enrol in (internships, projects, training, lab/CRO, patent/IP, overseas-education support, etc.).
  • To issue and verify certificates and to communicate about your program.
  • To send you relevant academic, program or offer updates by email or WhatsApp where you have opted in. You can opt out at any time.
  • To process payments, maintain records, and meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
  • To improve our website and services and to keep our systems secure.

4. Lawful basis & consent

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or enrol with us, and for legitimate uses permitted by law (such as fulfilling a service you requested or complying with legal obligations). By submitting a form, you consent to be contacted by Manna Biotech via email and, where you provide a number, WhatsApp/phone. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 8); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

5. Marketing & WhatsApp communication

We send promotional or program updates only to people who have opted in. Every email includes an unsubscribe option, and you can stop WhatsApp messages at any time by replying “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE”. We do not sell your data and we do not send unsolicited bulk spam.

6. How we share data

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only as needed and only with:

  • Trusted service providers (Data Processors) who help us operate — for example email, hosting, our CRM (MB-EIS / erp.mannabiotech.com), analytics and payment providers — under appropriate confidentiality and security commitments.
  • Manna ecosystem companies (Manna Educare, Mannova Life Sciences, Café Manna) only where you have asked for a related service (e.g. overseas-education guidance) and with your consent.
  • Authorities where required by law, court order or to protect rights, safety and security.

7. Data retention

We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, accounting and certification records). When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it. You may ask us to erase your data earlier, subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act and our policy, you may:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request erasure of your data, subject to legal retention obligations;
  • withdraw consent or opt out of marketing at any time;
  • nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity; and
  • raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.

9. How we protect your data

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — role-based access, least-privilege controls, secured databases and backups — to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration or loss. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to act promptly on any security concern.

11. Third-party links

Our site may link to external websites (e.g. social media, partner or verification pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
