Nanopore training cost depends on your track (analysis-only vs full wet-lab run), duration, and whether your own samples are sequenced. A 15-minute call lets us recommend the right track and a transparent fee.

Do I get hands-on access to a real Nanopore device?+
Yes. Manna Biotech runs an operational Oxford Nanopore (MinION) workflow in its Nacharam, Hyderabad lab. You perform real library preparation, loading, sequencing runs, and basecalling — not a slideshow demo. Seat availability per batch is limited so that every learner gets bench time.
Who can join this Nanopore training?+
BSc, MSc, BTech, MTech, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D and PhD students, research scholars, faculty, and working professionals in life sciences, biotechnology, microbiology, genomics or bioinformatics. No prior sequencing experience is required for the foundation track.
Is this offered online or only in person?+
The wet-lab Nanopore sequencing component is in person at our Hyderabad lab. The data-analysis and bioinformatics component (basecalling, assembly, 16S/metagenomics interpretation) can be delivered in a blended or remote format with guided mentoring.
What will I be able to do after the training?+
You will understand long-read sequencing chemistry, run library prep and a MinION flow cell, perform basecalling, and carry out downstream analysis such as genome assembly, variant calling, or 16S metagenomic profiling — and present a documented mini-project.
Is the certificate verifiable?+
